The first Guangzhou International Wooden House & Wooden Structure Fair was successfully held at Pazhou Exhibition Center·Poly World Trade Center on 10th March, 2009. To better generalize the culture of Chinese wooden house and enhance people’s awareness of the concept of wooden house, the host elaborately built a “wooden house culture wall” at the exhibition scene, which aimed to extend the life culture concept of wooden house to the society and helped to let people know better about it. The main exhibits include: different styles design works of wooden house, such as European style, Japanese style etc; classical projects of wooden structure; the promotion and introduction of famous companies of wooden house and wooden structure. Audiences were quite attracted by all of these. Meanwhile, in order to speed up the development of wooden structure in China, Development Forum of wooden structure was held jointly with China Wooden Structure Committee. There gathered in-field professors and lots of people from wooden structure design units of China and abroad, construction units and related scientific and research technical departments to exchange views and plans for development. Famous enterprises both in home and aboard such as Shanghai Meizhi, Beijing Zixiang-Xing, Tecsunhomes, Crownhomes, WETO, Taiwan A.M.H., HOMAG, CLA ,OK House, Allsight, ASE fuJian,Hongyulin Wooden House, Harbin Beitai Log Cabin, Xioayu House, Mobicity, Haide Wooden House , Southern-Takasho，chinatimber，Femz Timber, Eonwood ,Shanghai ConST, Ecoway etc., have participated in this pageant ,and also put forward excellent suggestions and made high comments.
Based on the success of the first fair, the second Guangzhou International Wooden House & Wooden Structure Fair will continually generalize the culture of wooden house & wooden structure and the pageant through well-known scenic spots both in home and abroad, leisure, residential villas, real estate development and construction, and Garden & Landscape magazines and websites. Meanwhile, in order to enrich the content of exhibition and further popularize the culture of wooden house& wooden structure, this fair will invite wooden house & wooden structure design experts and scholars to take participate in the Wooden Structure Culture and Development Forum, Design Training Courses of Wooden Structure, 2010 Wooden Structure Design Contest and Awards, as well as sampling activities of modern garden leisure life. This exhibition will integrate advantageous resources and consummate professional promotion, with the aim of building up an effective cooperation pageant for manufacturers, dealers, real estate developers, landscape design units, professionals and also media colleagues to come together for the exchange. We believe that our fair will promote the spread and development of the culture of wooden house & wooden structure.
